This week has been another productive week for me. For the first time in a very very long time, I missed my Saturday run. Not only did I miss my long Saturday run, but I did not make it up on Sunday. In the past, if I miss my run on Saturday, I always make it up on Sunday. That being said, I did go for a run on Sunday, just not my 2 hour run.
Here are this weeks results:
Monday: 7.1 mi/58:55/L1-29:09/L2-29:45/AVG. HR=154/MAX. HR=166
Tuesday: 10.7 mi/1:29:45/L1-45:04/L2-44:41/AVG. HR=148/MAX. HR=166
Wednesday: 7 mi/1:04:24/L1-29:22/L2-35:01/AVG. HR=145/MAX. HR=160
Thursday: Unable to Run
Friday: REST
Saturday: Unable to Run
Sunday: 7.6 mi/1:02:55/L1-31:03/L2-31:52/AVG. HR=157/MAX. HR=171
Mileage=32.4
As you can see, I did a pretty good job pacing myself this week. Most of my times out and back were about the same. On Wednesday, I made a big mistake and ran in the heat of the day and struggled to finish and therefore, my back time was horrible. I am hoping to run every day this week very very early in the morning. Maybe this week will be much better.
As always, have a GREAT week of running and KEEP RUNNING!!

Nothing beats a good run! I’ve been running for over 30 years, and somehow I enjoy it more with every mile. Marathon days are behind me now, but I’m incredibly proud to have completed 14 marathons over the years. These days, my goals have shifted, and I’ve really enjoyed running one half marathon each month — woot! Running 3–4 times a week feels just right. Most importantly, spending time with my wife and my girls, Juliana (16) and Jessa (14), is my greatest priority these days. GR8FL!
