Started my day off with a nice breakfast with my 21 month old, Jessa! She is such a hoot! Always smiling and knows how to make you smile. If you are NOT a male, she will run right into your arms and chat your ear off. If you are a man, too bad, you will not get the time of day from her. (I have no clue as to why, but I have a small hunch). :)
After a nice breakfast, I came home with her for naptime and then headed out for a nice little 4 mile run. It was only my 2nd run in the last six weeks. It was a slow one, but nevertheless, a great one! Anytime I get a run in, it is a great!
After my run, it was FAMILY time and wowza, what a great family day! We headed to the East Cobb Park and had a lunch picnic, GREAT time! We topped our evening off with yet, another picnic, but a different park. The girls hung out with mommy while daddy hit golf balls in the park. Of course, Jessa would retrieve daddy's golf balls every once in awhile when she wasn't too distracted.
I love my wife and my kids and I am truly grateful for each one of them!

Nothing beats a good run! I’ve been running for over 30 years, and somehow I enjoy it more with every mile. Marathon days are behind me now, but I’m incredibly proud to have completed 14 marathons over the years. These days, my goals have shifted, and I’ve really enjoyed running one half marathon each month — woot! Running 3–4 times a week feels just right. Most importantly, spending time with my wife and my girls, Juliana (16) and Jessa (14), is my greatest priority these days. GR8FL!
